Aveyond 2 - and Walkthrough!

I am so excited about this game! It's been a long time in the making and it's finally here. It DEFINITELY lives up to all the hype!

Fans of the first Aveyond will be very pleased with the newest installment in the saga. If you've never played Aveyond (or its predecessor), I urge you to give this game a try!

Aveyond 2 is a role play game, very old school style with charm, magic and an incredibly immersive storyline. It's the kind of game that plays like a good book. You don't want to finish it because you don't want it to end, but at the same time, you can't wait to see what happens next!

For those who aren't familiar with old school RPGS, here is how they work:

You start off with your character (in this game, Ean). You wander around and explore the world, completing quests (for instance, Ean's mother needs you to find some honeycomb for the biscuits she's baking), solving puzzles (what is the beast in Shadow Woods and how can you stop it?), and battling monsters of increasing difficulty.

You earn experience points through your actions and gain strength and skills as you grow. You will meet others that will join you in your endeavors and become members of your traveling party. You will get new methods of transporation that will allow you to fully explore the world!

The graphics are fantastic (for this genre of game, its not WoW so don't expect that! Think more like Legend of Zelda or the original Final Fantasy game!) The musical score is very well done and the overall gameplay is just wonderful.

I give this game a 10 out of 10! Yay!

I have to say the demo does not do this game justice. I wasn't going to buy it afterward just because it didn't (I don't know)reel me in as tightly as the 1st one did,but of course I was talked into it(bad daughter..lol)and now I am extremely hooked.

Hi there, this is Amanda, the lady who made the game... This is for the anonymous poster who commented above me... Can you tell me what you would fix in the first hour of the trial? I would love to make it more exciting for players and your help would be much appreciated. Please feel free to email me at admin@amaranthia.com

I love the design of this site!

Thank you so much, game fairy! I've updated my blog. I've been working around the clock to fix this problem. This commenter hit a key with me, and she inspired me to make a better beginning.

I should have a new version of the game for BFG folks next week.

Hello Amanda and any others reading!

I'm not a big RPG game player per se, BUT I was looking for something fun and addictive to play when I came across this game on BFG. I played the 1 hour demo and within that timeframe I purchased the game to play! Its a great game so far (I really haven't played long, just a few hours) and I think anyone that likes this genre will enjoy this game as well!

Keep up the great work!

To get a silver spoon, just kill one of the silver spoon mobs and once in awhile they'll drop one. Make sure you loot the corpse!

Train by killing the single theif near Grimm's Farm and train in the Green Weed Plains and in the Graystone Pass or what ever the place is. I worked a little in the swamps south of the whatchmacallit
Pass. Just kill the two spiders and travel down and right to get to the swamp. There are two "required" battes(in other words, you can't avoid them) on the route to Cander. The first is avoidable but only if you are a really good dodger. The second comes after and consists of three theives and one rouge mage. After that, head on to Cander.

I'm playing the game and am SOOOO lost. I have Ean, Iya, and Rye. I received the letter to give to Ella. Only prob is that I can't get there because all the guard are blocking and I didn't unlock all the location switches. So how do I get anywhere?
